1. What are cookies?

Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, SDKs) store small amounts of data on your device. BaxSim uses them to operate the Service, keep you signed in, and — only with your consent — measure usage and improve the product.

2. Essential cookies

These are required for security and core features (authentication session cookies, CSRF/session hints, load balancing, fraud prevention). They do not require consent under ePrivacy / CNIL guidance.

Examples: HttpOnly authentication cookies (`bx_at` / `bx_rt`), session presence hints, preference storage needed to remember your consent choice.

3. Analytics cookies

With your consent we may use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand feature usage and page performance. These are disabled until you accept analytics in our cookie banner or preference centre.

4. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies or similar identifiers are only activated if you opt in. We do not load third-party advertising pixels by default.

5. Managing your choices

You can accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies via the banner on first visit, and reopen preferences from the website footer. You may also clear site data in your browser.
